A trip on our Santa Train is the perfect way to make this Christmas extra magical. Journey past the stunning Half Mile Pond before arriving at the North Pole Halt, an enchanting snow-covered winter wonderland. But don’t linger too long, Father Christmas is waiting for you in his grotto! He wants to hear all about your Christmas wishes. And who knows, if you’ve been good this year, his elves may even have a gift waiting for you.
Santa trains can be booked as part of the checkout journey. Please be patient after selecting the date of your visit and a pop-up will open with additional experiences.

- Please allow up to 1.5 hours for your Santa Train experience from the time of your booking
- The Festival of Light lanterns are switched on from 4:00pm – 7.30pm, so please bear these timings in mind if booking an evening Santa Train.
- This is an extremely popular experience and pre-booking is essential.
- The Santa Train runs daily during The Festival of Light until 24 December (inclusive).
- You must have a valid entry ticket or Member pre-booking for The Festival of Light to book onto the Santa Train.
- Children under the age of 16 are not allowed to ride the train alone and must be accompanied by an adult with a Santa Train ticket.
- An adult ticket includes hot chocolate and a mince pie at the North Pole Halt.
- Babes in arms do not require a ticket to ride the Santa Train. Though only children with a valid Train ticket will receive a gift as part of the experience.
- Each train can carry two wheelchairs. To book this place please contact Guest Services on 01985 844400 before you book.
- The train will operate in nearly all weather. In the unlikely event that it is deemed necessary to close the railway, alternative sessions will be offered subject to availability.
