Lewa Safari Marathon 2024

Regretfully, the Lewa Safari Marathon in which our lead Carnivore Keeper Caleb Hall was due to take part was cancelled due to the situation in Kenya in recent days; you can read the statement from the organisers here.

Caleb will have the opportunity to run in a rescheduled event and we are grateful to all who supported him through messages and donations to support the vital conservation work taking place in Kenya.

Caleb has sent this message: “I’m heartbroken that I can’t go for the run but we’re safe.  We plan to see as much wildlife as we can and visit the projects which Tusk is running in Lewa and which you have been helping to fund through donations; we will be sharing videos on these in the weeks ahead.”
