Access Card launch

A new partnership to improve access to Longleat for those with disabilities has been announced today.

We're joining forces with Nimbus Disability to introduce the Access Card, ending the need for people to bring documents and personal information to prove an essential companion is needed.

Scott Ashman, Head of Operations, said: “We are committed to ensuring we are as accessible and inclusive as possible and ensuring those who need extra support receive it when they need it.

“Nimbus Disability’s Access Card is recognised by venues across the UK and we are delighted to be partnering with them to make the guest journey to Longleat as simple as we can.

“It is the latest initiative to improve our accessibility as we already offer specific signage welcomed by those with neurodiverse needs, a sensory bag can be borrowed, and we produce an accessible map to support visitors. All of which has had positive feedback and we hope the Access Card will be equally warmly welcomed.

“This streamlined approach will make booking tickets significantly easier for our hundreds of thousands of Access Card Holders.

“For visitors without an Access Card, the free Digital Access Pass is available. This partnership is a major step forward, reinforcing a validated and consistent standard for accessible ticketing across the UK and beyond.”

The Access Card is being introduced for all tickets in 2026.

“2026 is a special year for us,” says Scott, “as we are marking the 60^th anniversary of the Safari Park being the first to open outside Africa and further improving our accessibility is a great way to start the celebrations.”

Tickets for 2026 are now available. Once a guest has applied for their free Longleat Digital Access Pass or DAP it is s valid for three years.
