Hybrid Defenders join zebra dazzle

Three state-of-the-art Land Rover Defenders have joined our iconic zebra-patterned vehicle fleet.

The hybrid model which boasts a short form of hippo, lion and zebra on the registration plate will be seen around the Safari Park in the coming days.

It comes just months after the Estate introduced a 98-seater safari bus complete with luxury padded seating, Wi-Fi, USB charging ports and air conditioning.

James Dare, Head of Facilities, said: “We were so pleased to be able to secure the hybrid model as this contributes to our efforts to be as sustainable as we can be while ensuring we have robust vehicles for what can be rugged terrain. The vehicles will be used as part of the VIP fleet throughout the Safari Park by our keepers.”
