Icons of the Sky day two at Longleat saw thousands of people descend on the Wiltshire estate to enjoy the spectacle of tethered balloons, marvel at plane and parachutist aerobatics and a beautiful night glow. 

Over the two days so far there have basket and balloon glows, pyrotechnic planes, a spectacular Spitfire, amazing gyro air display, the RAF Falcons which is the world’s premier military parachute display team and much more. 

The weather stopped mass ascents, but organisers are hopeful a break in the weather on Sunday morning will see hot air balloons flying over the Wiltshire countryside.
