Winter Big Cat Feed VIP Experience

A special treat as we welcome you when our doors are closed to the public. This experience is just you, the keepers and the animals.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to feed Longleat’s safari carnivores in an armoured feeding wagon? Here is your opportunity to be chased by the tigers, lions, wolves and cheetahs as you drop meat for them.
Not for the faint-hearted! To take part in this adrenaline-pumping two-and-a-half-hour experience you must be comfortable with the sight and handling of raw meat, and be in good physical health to stand in the wagon during the exhilarating experience.
Includes
- Get up close and personal with the tigers, lions, wolves and cheetahs in their houses.
- Ride on board the feeding wagon as it tours through the four carnivore species’ reserves, being chased by the animals before dropping their meat out for them to enjoy.
- Then climb aboard a VIP 4x4 Land Rover to tour their reserves once again to enjoy time observing their behaviour after having their big feed.
- The company, knowledge and experience of a dedicated keeper.

On the day
- The Winter Big Cat Feed VIP Experience is exceptionally popular and spaces are generally filled up months in advance. If you have a specific date in mind, please check the availability calendar before making your purchase. Availability may fluctuate depending on the time of year.
- Suitable for those aged 18 and over only. If our keepers feel a participant appears to be under 18, they will ask for proof of age.
- Meet at VIP Meeting point 1, the dedicated VIP Hut at the Safari Park entrance, 15 minutes before your experience begins.

- Your experience may be shared with other VIP guests up to a maximum of two people. To find out how you can book this exclusively, please contact the team.
- Health and safety briefing will be provided.
- If you have limited mobility or require the use of steps for access into the truck, please contact the team before making your booking.
- Please dress appropriately for your experience, such as sturdy footwear and dark colours; your experience may be messy!
This experience is not suitable for pregnant guests.
Participants must be comfortable with the sight and handling of raw meat, and you must be in good physical health in order to stand on the wagon during the tour.

Regrettably, some people will be unable to take part in some experiences including individuals with relevant phobias, known allergies, pregnant people and those who are immunocompromised. While every effort is made to accommodate people with disabilities, wheelchair access is not always available due to heritage elements of the site or the terrain in which the experience takes place.
Most of our experiences require a certain level of physical activity. If you wish to book an experience and you or the person you care for has accessibility needs, please contact us first so we can ensure the best fit to meet your needs. Where an experience is possible, an essential companion accredited via an Access Card is welcome to attend for support but will not take part in the experience. If an essential companion would like to take part, a ticket must be purchased.

Most of our experiences have a minimum age requirement. Please adhere to these. Participating children up to, and including, the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult who also has a VIP booking.
Some of our experiences take place early in the morning; please ensure you have considered time for arrival, parking, comfort breaks and getting to your Meeting Point in your planning. You must arrive at your Meeting Point at least 15 minutes in advance of your experience time.
If you have a VIP Gift Voucher and would like to book the date of your experience, this can be done online or via our team on 01985 844400.
Your VIP Gift Voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and your experience must be taken within this period. Please note some of our experiences are in high demand and require weeks or months advanced booking. Please allow at least 12 weeks’ notice when booking your day. In some instances, this may be longer.
If we are unable to accommodate your experience within your validity period, alternative options will be given.
Once your experience has been booked, it cannot be rescheduled unless under exceptional circumstances and this is at Longleat’s discretion.
