A special treat as we welcome you when our doors are closed to the public so this experience is just you, the keepers and the animals.
Create golden memories with this prestigious VIP Experience. You’ll spend the day meeting and feeding some of the animal kingdom’s most majestic animals.
First up is an adventure to Big Cat Territory; where you'll meet the Amur tigers and African lions. Then be whisked to Jungle Kingdom, where you’ll take a private, on foot tour with an expert keeper and meet some of the residents.
You’ll then head to African Village, where your next experience awaits; this may see you meeting our lemurs, Rothschild's giraffes or the tapir. Then enjoy a drive around the African reserve to kick start your immersive safari.
After a stop to refuel and revitalise with lunch, you’ll climb back on board your VIP 4x4 truck to take a safari adventure trail like no other. Your guide will take you closer than ever and show you all the magnificent animals who call Longleat home.

On the day
- The Winter VIP Tour is exceptionally popular and spaces are filled up several months in advance. If you have a specific date in mind, please check the availability calendar before making your purchase. Availability may fluctuate depending on the time of year.
- Suitable for guests aged eight years and over. Children up to, and including, the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult who is also participating in the VIP Experience.
- Meet at VIP Meeting point 1, the dedicated VIP Hut at the Safari Park entrance, 15 minutes before your experience begins.

- Your experience may be shared with other VIP guests up to a maximum of four people. Six guests within the same party may share a truck. Please contact the team before booking if you would like to discuss this option.
- If you have limited mobility or require the use of steps for access into the truck, please contact the team before making your booking.

Regrettably, some people will be unable to take part in some experiences including individuals with relevant phobias, known allergies, pregnant people and those who are immunocompromised. While every effort is made to accommodate people with disabilities, wheelchair access is not always available due to heritage elements of the site or the terrain in which the experience takes place.
Most of our experiences require a certain level of physical activity. If you wish to book an experience and you or the person you care for has accessibility needs, please contact us first so we can ensure the best fit to meet your needs. Where an experience is possible, an essential companion accredited via an Access Card is welcome to attend for support but will not take part in the experience. If an essential companion would like to take part, a ticket must be purchased.

Most of our experiences have a minimum age requirement. Please adhere to these. Participating children up to, and including, the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult who also has a VIP booking.
Some of our experiences take place early in the morning; please ensure you have considered time for arrival, parking, comfort breaks and getting to your Meeting Point in your planning. You must arrive at your Meeting Point at least 15 minutes in advance of your experience time.
If you have a VIP Gift Voucher and would like to book the date of your experience, this can be done online or via our team on 01985 844400.
Your VIP Gift Voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and your experience must be taken within this period. Please note some of our experiences are in high demand and require weeks or months advanced booking. Please allow at least 12 weeks’ notice when booking your day. In some instances, this may be longer.
If we are unable to accommodate your experience within your validity period, alternative options will be given.
Once your experience has been booked, it cannot be rescheduled unless under exceptional circumstances and this is at Longleat’s discretion.
