Longleat Summer Carnival 19 July – 31 August
If you or someone in your group is sensitive to noise, or crowds, we recommend visiting the carnival during quieter periods for a more comfortable experience. Our team is here to assist—please don’t hesitate to ask for support or further information during your visit.

Due to the nature of the rides, the event arena will likely be noisier than other areas of the park.
Yes. Some rides have flashing lights.
Rides are accessible to someone with mobility difficulties, but able to walk up two steps (please note, the helter skelter is not suitable to those with limited mobility).
Yes, there will be designated buggy park areas in the events arena.
Icons of the Sky 12 – 14 September
With two hot air balloon mass ascents, aerial displays and much more, there’s so much to do at Icons of the Sky for a fun-filled day!

Yes, Icons of the Sky is a popular event, and the spaces may become crowded and noisy, particularly during peak times.
Yes, a firework finale follows the display. If you or someone in your group is sensitive to loud noises, we recommend bringing noise-reduction headphones for comfort
Some viewing areas are located on grassed terrain, which may present challenges for those with mobility difficulties. Please plan accordingly and exercise caution in these areas.
Yes, ballooning is highly weather dependent. Timings may be adjusted to suit weather conditions, and in adverse weather, some launches and displays may be postponed or cancelled for safety reasons.
Anyone able to provide proof of a disability is entitled to bring a carer free of charge, simply add a Carer Ticket to your order. 2 to 1 care can also be booked in this way - please just bring evidence confirming this requirement with you on your visit.
Designated disabled parking areas are available in Lime Tree Car Park, Silver Birch Car Park, and additional spaces at Lakeside for the Icons of the Sky event. These areas will be clearly signposted on the day of your visit.
- Accessible toilets are provided at the entrance to the Safari Drive-Through, in the Safari Drive-Through (close to the Watering Hole at African Village), off the Main Square near The Sweet Shop, close to the Jungle Cruise, and in The Chameleon Tree Restaurant and Coffee House.
- Additional toilet facilities, including accessible options, will be available for the event. Location details will be provided on the day of your visit.
- Changing facilities with adjustable changing bench and hoist are available in the main accessible toilets off the Main Square near The Sweet Shop.
- Please note that our accessible toilets can only be accessed with a radar key. You are welcome to bring your own radar key or you can request one from Guest Services in Main Square.
Manual wheelchairs and mobility scooters are now available for hire (subject to availability)
As we have a limited amount available, we would strongly advise you contact us before visiting and reserving your wheelchair or scooter. You can do this by emailing enquiries@longleat.co.uk or contact us on 01985 844400.
Service dogs are welcome everywhere at Longleat excluding the Safari Park, Jungle Kingdom, Jungle Cruise, Monkey Temple and Animal Adventure. Please ensure you use poop scoops.
Visitors are not permitted to bring other domestic animals onto the Longleat Estate.
