Booking an Education Visit
We are excited to be able to support learning by offering a variety of educational visits and resources. Find out everything you need to know about booking an education visit below.

At busy times, we do need at least 2 weeks notice so we can confirm your visit date and process payment prior to your arrival.
- Check opening dates and times to ensure we are open
- Complete the booking form and provide as much information about your visit as possible
- Please note that animal sessions will last 30-40mins.
We will email you a booking confirmation invoice letter with a unique booking reference number which you will need to quote on the gate on the day to gain entry.
There are two payment options: we are happy to take a credit/debit card payment over the telephone - 01985 844400 and choose option 6 or BACs payments through our finance team, remittances sent must include our Booking reference to allow payment allocations. Payment details are also outlined on your invoice but payment is required at least 14 working days in advance of your visit.
We strongly encourage all teachers to visit in advance of their school coming. The site has many attractions and facilities which are best experienced for effective planning.
Firstly, you need to organise your school trip by submitting a booking form to our education team. Once your booking has been processed and payment made, you are welcome to book your free pre-visit. To arrange this, please email us from your school account with your preferred date (when no events are taking place) and the names of the 2 attending teachers.
Please note that we require at least 3 working days notice to arrange this, we can offer 2 free pre-visit tickets per school.
Please note: Any extra adults/children (ages 3 and above) accompanying teachers on a Familiarisation Visit will be expected to pay normal admission prices and to pre book these.

Prices and Payment
Education groups can access the best rates Longleat has to offer. We are happy to offer you the education rates, on off-peak weekdays during Wiltshire term time only*. On weekends or holiday periods, and for International students, a special rate is also available, see below.
A Day Ticket offers entry into Longleat, the Safari Drive-Through in your own vehicle (coach or mini bus) and Main Square Attractions and ground floor viewing of Longleat House on the date of the visit (subject to standard conditions of entry). The house tour is not included, and does need to be pre booked, subject to availability.
Please note, Longleat is currently a cash free site, we are only able to accept card payments across the park including in our gift shops, restaurants and animal feeding activities.

Goody Bags
We have a range of shops on site, but with a busy day ahead of you, you may not have the time to visit them.
We offer some fantastic goody bags for groups, catering for all ages and offering a great range of souvenirs. We require 2 weeks notice to purchase goody bags, please request these on your booking request form, and then collect them on the day of your visit.

*If your school term dates differ to Wiltshire we will honour your dates as term time unless they conflict with peak season events.
**All the prices given are inclusive of VAT, they are only valid for pre-booked and pre-paid educational groups. These rates are also available to groups of 12+ home educators on term time weekdays only if come together and remain as a group for the day. If your group is smaller than this please get in touch and we can let you know alternative rates (standard), that you can book on the website or do please take a look at our upcoming Home Education Focus Days (for September & December).
Please note if you book with less than 2 weeks notice we may not be able to accommodate your booking. Once a booking is made, numbers and details can be amended at any time in the run up to your trip, prior to making your payment, after which no changes can be made.
